COME AND MEET THE VOICE BEHIND THE JINGLES!
The voice behind countless Australian and International television and radio advertisements, including Channel 7’s “Love You Queensland” theme song, Renae Suttie will be doing what she loves best… JAZZ!
Along with three of the Sunshine Coast’s most sought-after session musicians (Max Sportelli, Marnix Van Bruggen and OJ Newcomb), Renae will be presenting a selection of her jazz originals along jazz favourites as you’ve never heard them before.
Following her jazz studies at the Qld Conservatorium of Music, Renae has been performing professionally for over 23 years. During this time she has worked the international 5 star hotel circuit extensively in countries such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Fiji, Kuala Lumpur, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.On the local scene Renae performs regularly at music festivals, private functions and public gigs as a soloist and with groups “The Kitty Kats”, “The Swing Collective” and “Sakura”. She is also engaged regularly as a backing vocalist and has supported artists such as Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton, Jon English, Doug Parkinson, John Stevens, Joe Camilleri, Peter Cupples, Wilbur Wilde, Lee Kernaghan, Stan Walker, Graeme Connors, John Swan, Sister 2 Sister, Marcia Hines, Ricki Lee, Donny Ray Evans and Elvis To The Max.Apart from jazz, one of Renae’s biggest passions is studio work; she thoroughly enjoys recording backing vocals on artists’ albums and radio and television advertising jingles. Renae’s voice can be heard on ads such as Channel 7’s “Love You Queensland” and “The Golden Casket Winners Circle”; Channel 9’s “Shine on 9”; “Hey Hey This Is Queensland”; “Seaworld”; “Sizzler”; “G.J. Gardner Homes”; “Donut King”; “Chandlers”; “Lite n Easy”; “Wallace Bishop”; “Alma Park Zoo”; “Eagle Boys”; “Sunshine Toyota”; “Sunshine Coast Daily”; “Zone Fresh”; “Image Blinds”; “Next Property Group”; and “Healthy Inspirations”, just to name a few.Renae was also awarded the "Jazz Vocalist Award" at the 2007 ABC Valley Jazz Festival and has recently released “Starlight”, an album of jazz originals from which she will be performing a number of songs at The Bison Bar. 
Joining Renae on stage will be Marnix Van Bruggen on Piano, OJ Newcomb on Bass and Max Sportelli on drums.
